Middlebury Language Schools offers summer immersion programs from beginning to advanced levels in 13 languages for ages 18-80+. Programs (2-8 weeks) are available in Abenaki, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish & Russian. With 110 years of experience, small classes, in-language activities, 24/7 Language Pledge, students gain fluency and earn college credits in a short period of time. Language Schools students can also earn master's degree over 4 summers (6-weeks each) or one or two summers and a year abroad/online. For Summer 2025, we have a NEW Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with licensure which offers a secondary (7–12) teaching license. Need-based financial aid and merit scholarships are available for both the immersion and graduate programs. Middlebury also offers undergraduate abroad programs and graduate programs at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS).
